If you choose to book a lesson with English Forum Online, or use any of its features, online learning platform or social media or use the website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern English Forum Online relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term “English Forum Online,” “The English Forum Online Tutoring Company” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website. The term 'you' refers to the user, users or viewer of our website.

However, English Forum Online has a policy for the use of the internet and expected behaviour whereby admin, any teachers using English Forum Online and its users must ensure that they:

  • use the website contact page, e-mail, online learning platform in an acceptable way

Acceptable behaviour

The English Forum Online expects that admin or users will conduct themselves in a professional and acceptable manner when interacting with each other either via e-mail or phone or using the learning environment provided by Google.

To achieve this standard we define "acceptable manner" as the expectation that the admin, teachers and users will treat others with courtesy, respect and consideration – and conduct themselves professionally when interacting with members of the English Forum Online community.

We want everyone who uses English Forum Online to have a pleasant and enjoyable experience. We want all users, admin and teachers to feel safe during the lesson, in e-mail or phone communication. 

 

Unacceptable behaviour

Unacceptable behaviour may involve actions or words that could reasonably be perceived to be the cause of another person’s distress or discomfort or serious offence. Unacceptable behaviour may take on the form of written, telephone or e-mail communications or through social media. 

In particular the following is deemed unacceptable use or behaviour by the admin, teachers or users:

  • Posting or using sites/pictures/comments that contain obscene, hateful, pornographic or otherwise illegal material on English Forum Online website, Google Docs or classroom, or any other social media platform the site is connected to.

  • Using profanity or intolerant language or any language deemed unacceptable by the admin or teacher which can be perceived as offensive, illegal or insulent.

  • Using any aspect of the English Forum Online website, Google Docs or classroom or any other social media platform the site is connected to to perpetrate any form of fraud, or software, film or music piracy

  • Using the English Forum Online website, Google Docs or classroom to send offensive or harassing material to other users or to the admin or teachers.

  • Hacking into unauthorised areas on English Forum Online website, Google Docs or classroom or any other social media platform the site is connected to.

  • Publishing/sending/posting defamatory and/or knowingly false material about The English Forum Online Tutoring Company, other users, or teachers, on social networking sites, 'blogs' (online journals), 'wikis' and any online publishing format.

  • Revealing confidential information about the owner of English Forum Online website, teachers or other users in a personal online posting, upload or transmission - including financial information, instructions on using the Google classroom, e-mails, and information relating to other users.

  • Introducing, spamming or sending any form of malicious software onto English Forum Online website, Google classroom or any other social media platform the site is connected to.
